Last weekend, Alpin Arena Schnals hosted the international U16 Tri-Nation competition with teams from Bavaria, North Tyrol, and South Tyrol. Despite changing weather conditions, the young athletes delivered strong performances on perfectly prepared slopes.

The event included two giant slaloms on Saturday and two slaloms on Sunday, with a combined overall ranking. Talents from Bavaria and South Tyrol stood out in particular. Bavaria claimed the overall team victory, closely followed by South Tyrol.

Among the top female racers were Nicole Piccolruaz (Val Gardena) in the giant slalom and Alenah Taschler (Val Casies), who won the combined. On the men’s side, Bavarian athletes Manuel and Ben Horvath secured wins, while Matthias Mahlknecht (Val Gardena) took third place in the combined.
