LiftsPure mountain air and breath-taking adventures in the spectacular Schnalstal Valley. Discover the hidden treasures of the Alpin Arena Senales along the new special-purpose ski touring route from Maso Corto/Kurzras via the Teufelsegg mountain hut to the Bella Vista refuge or the Grawand mountain peak.
The route covers around 7 kilometres and around 1,200 metres of altitude difference. The green-marked ascent route is intended exclusively for ski tourers and may only be used during the slope opening hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The descent into the valley must take place before 5:00 p.m. The ascent may only be undertaken with appropriate equipment and in accordance with the current conditions (e.g. weather, snow and ice conditions). The route starts at the Roter Kofel chairlift in Kurzras at an altitude of 2,011 metres.
The route is divided into two sections.
Section 1 leads from the Roter Kofel chairlift to the Teufelsegg hut and involves an elevation gain of approximately 400 meters. The route runs mainly alongside the ski slope with only a few crossing points, all of which are clearly signposted. Particular caution is required at all crossing points, as skiers on the slopes always have the right of way. All instructions and signs along the route must be strictly observed.
Section 2 continues from the Teufelsegg hut/top station of the Roter Kofel chairlift in the direction of Grawand. The route continues alongside the ski slopes and crosses the slope in some places (signs are provided). Via the Schmugglerscharte, the route leads to an area just before the valley station of the Gletschersee chairlift. Here, it is possible to turn left towards the Bella Vista hut or to continue following the marked route, which leads to the top station of Grawand at an altitude of 3,212 meters.
Please note: Helmets are compulsory on the ski slopes for everyone, without exception!
