National teams from all over the world take advantage of the high altitude cross-country ski trails for biathlon training – including world class athletes like Ole Einar Bjorndalen. The challenging and guaranteed snow glacier trail, Hochjoch, is about ten kilometers long and runs over wide open terrain.

The Hochjoch cross-country ski trail at 3000 meters above sea level offers perfect conditions for high altitude biathlon training starting as early as mid-September.
