The Val Senales Glacier Cable Car ascends more than one thousand metres in just six minutes, climbing all the way to the “Grawand” (3,212 m), the highest-altitude hotel in Europe. From here, a chairlift takes visitors over the Hochjochferner glacier, which covers around approximately 80 hectares. Located immediately alongside the chairlift base station is the “Ötzi Biwak”
mountain hut, which invites visitors to relax on its sun terrace against the spectacular backdrop of majestic three-thousanders. A short circular trail starting at “Ötzi Biwak” (closed in summer) provides visitors with a safe way to explore the glacier near to the Austrian-Italian border. Group ticket
Special prices for groups: a group which consists of 20 people pay for the round trip with the glacier cable car only 22,50€ per person.
The 21st person gets a free ticket.
