The undisturbed purity of the glacier is reflected again in the GLACISSE Cosmetic Care Series, which is characterized by precious minerals and the purest spring water from the Hochjoch Glacier, a glacier in the Schnalstal Valley in the Ötztal Alps. Drawing upon the historic awareness of the beneficial and healing effects of the glacier, this exclusive cosmetic line making use of the active substances MICA GLACIAL® and ACQUA GLACIAL® has been developed.

ipotsch – Smart carpet slippers from Southern Tyrol

Comprehensive tests have shown that the wool from Schnalstal Valley sheep is better than, for instance, New Zealand wool in terms of heat preservation and maintaining temperature balance. The Schnals Sheep, a breed all of its own and a rare one indeed, is well-known internationally for the traditional sheep drive over the main ridge of the Alps. Nowadays it is solely its wool that serves to manufacture the puristically designed ipotsch carpet slippers, which, due to their property of maintaining temperature balance, guarantee pleasantly warm feet at all times of year. This sustainable project has already been distinguished by the South Tyrolean Marketing Company with a public choice award.

Organic products made right on the farm

In the farm store at Bioland Hof Oberniederhof in Unser Frau you will find a broad range of home-made products. The Arche Hof chain for sustainable farming aims to preserve endangered breeds of productive livestock, such as Tyrolean Grey Cattle or the Swabian-Hall country-bred pig. From the product range: Cheese, bacon, smoked sausages ..., but then also nature's delights, such as herbal teas or herb salt made with wild and cultivated herbs, as well as seasonal fruit spreads and honey.
