Sanctuary of Madonna di Senales in South Tyrol

The pilgrimage church of our Lady - Unser Frau/Madonna

Both the delightful Baroque-style pilgrimage church and the nearby cemetery with its artistic graveyard crosses made of copper and bronze by local artists Friedrich Gurschler and Martin Rainer are well worth a visit.

The village of Unser Frau celebrated its 700th. anniversary as a place of pilgrimage in the year 2004. It is, in fact, one of the oldest pilgrimage centres in the entire Tyrol region.
