Our sheep

Since
thousands of years, sheep have been walking
though the Alps crossing every year, in mid-June, to go from Schnals and the Sonnenberg mountain in Schlanders to the summer pastures behind the
Ötz Valley (Austria).
Those who participated in this
ancient show will never forget it. The happy return of over
4,000 sheep is welcomed with celebrations.

the annual migration of sheep on the mountains of Alto Adige (Italy). The book reports the century old tradition, which takes the flocks from the Val Venosta up to Val Senales and the pastures of Otzal in Austria.
