Mainly because there are so many roads and nobody knows exactly how long they are, and of course everyone has his own „insider tip“. The important thing is that there is something for everyone here: from the gently ascending forest tracks down to the valley, to the trails that lead between the mountain peaks. Hikers and nature are both respected here and mutual respect guarantees that the countryside of Merano will be a hiker and biker’s paradise for many generations to come.

The perfect environmentally-friendly travel solution for die-hard bicycle enthusiasts and cyclists. Enjoy the natural surroundings and cultural attractions on a leisurely family day out! 1,300 Bicycles can be rented at 7 stations along the Val Venosta line from Bolzano Sud to Malles.

Eventcards include a one-day ticket for unlimited travel on the Merano-Malles railway line, as well as a full day’s bicycle and helmet rental.
